RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
Egg noodles (can substitute spaghetti) – good for 1 bowl
Unsalted butter – 2 tablespoons
Garlic – 6 cloves, minced
Spring onions – 1 tablespoon
Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon
Oyster sauce – 1 tablespoon
Fish sauce – 1 tablespoon
Parmesan cheese – grated; ¼ cup Salt for boiling noodles
Cayenne powder (or chili powder)
PROCEDURE:
1. Boil noodles in a pot of water with salt, until they are cooked (al dente). Drain thoroughly and place in a bowl.
2. Heat another saucepan. Low heat. Put in butter and let it melt.
3. Add garlic. Saute for 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
4. Add in all the liquid ingredients, half of spring onions and half of parmesan. Mix.
5. Stir for about 3-4 minutes. Lower down heat level.
6. Add noodles to the pan and toss. Mix it with sauce.
7. Remove from heat. Put in serving plate, add the remaining spring onions and parmesan. Sprinkle with cayenne powder. Serve.
